Venue Capacity
The Event Centre can host a vide variety of styled seating or functions.
Large round tables perfect for weddings or Gala style events can seat 120 (not including the front area which can fit another 40)
Large table banquet style can seat 180
Cocktail style with High bars and bar stools 200
Conference stadium seating for presentations 150
Venue Hire Fee
There is 2 options to hiring the event centre:
1) When using NQ Licensed Events to cater your food and alcohol the fee for hire is $330.00 Mon - Fri, $550 on a Saturday or Sunday only and $770 for the weekend (Fri-Sun).
Alternatively you can Choose from the centres Panel of caterers and arrange with those caterers to service your food and alcohol needs as DRY HIRE. The cost of dry hire is $550 Mon - Fri, $770 for a Saturday or Sunday only $990 for the weekend (Fri-Sun).

Quayside Port Terminal
If you’re looking for something a little bigger we also work closely with the Quayside terminal.
About Quayside:
Quayside Terminal is a unique venue hire option for special events including weddings, conventions, exhibitions, conferences and charity balls. Located on the waterfront at the Port of Townsville and just two kilometres from the Townsville CBD, Quayside Terminal venue offers two main areas for hire including the premium main hall space and the outdoor Breezeway, which takes in panoramic views of the city.
Quayside Terminal is a ‘dry hire’ venue that requires all function requirements including tables, seating, catering, security and audiovisual equipment to be brought in, as your event managers we will help you take care of this.

Dry Hire / 24hr hire period / Bus and taxi bays / Parking located on Ross St / Restroom facilities / Air Conditioning and fans / Covered external area / Venue space for up to 1000 people
